Face-to-face sessions will be conducted at our centrally located offices in the Dymocks Building. Wellshare rooms, Suite 1, Level 5, 428 George Street, Sydney CBD, NSW 2000, Australia.

To receive a Medicare rebate under the Better Access Initiative, you must be referred by an appropriate medical practitioner (GP or Psychiatrist). You are entitled to up to 10 individual sessions in a calendar year. A referral is for a maximum of six sessions. Your referring doctor will assess your progress after the first six sessions and determine whether further sessions are required. The Medicare rebate of $86.15 will be claimed and deposited into your bank account after your appointment.

Telehealth/Online Counselling & Coaching sessions
are held using Coviu, a secure end-to-end encrypted video platform. You will receive a video link in your pre-appointment reminder via SMS and email. All you need is an internet connection, however we do recommend using Google Chrome for your video appointment for improved connectivity. Telehealth appointments are eligible to see receive a Medicare rebate currently until the 30th of September 2020.

Telehealth services with a Psychologist are now available under Medicare. To be eligible to receive these services you must: have an eligible mental health condition and a referral from a GP or psychiatrist; live in an eligible rural, remote or very remote location; be located at least 15 kilometres by road from the mental health professional; not be a patient of an emergency department or admitted to hospital at the time of the service. You may still access online counselling without the Medicare rebate if you do not meet these criteria for the full fee. Please check with your private health insurance for rebate eligibility.

Fees for Counselling Services

The fees shown on this website will apply to your first appointment if booking through the website and shall apply for that booking.

Prior to your Counselling appointment, we will require you to complete both a Client Questionnaire and acknowledge our Confidentiality and Cancellations Policy.  If you are booking your first appointment with us, the guidance for completing these documents will be emailed to you prior to your appointment. Please note there is a 24-hr Cancellation policy. If sessions are cancelled less than 24-hrs in advance a fee equivalent to 50% of your session fee is required.

We are not responsible for any loss, damage, cost, expense, action, claim, demand, proceeding, injury or liability suffered by any person as a result of a failure by that person or any other person to contact public emergency services.
